We sailed out under the harbour bridge and headed north between Vancouver Island and the mainland. The views were stunning and we were pointing our camera's in all directions to take advantage of it.
As we had did not have time to unpack before the ship sailed we turned our attention to getting this done before dinner. Our cabin is perfect with good views from the large windows leading out to the balcony. We can see that we will be spending quite a bit of time taking photo's from it.
We awoke this morning to see a huge group of dolphins swimming alongside the ship and a whale breaching in the distance... what a way to start the day.
The food and service is fabulous and I think that we will have to address a serious diet when we get back home.
Tonight is a formal night which we are looking forward to and tomorrow we will be arriving in our first port of call which is Juneau so stay posted.
You do look well settled in !! Bob should invest in a cruise ship rather than a motorhome ?? and I will serve cocktails to you both..
ReplyDeleteWe are still playing with our blog but enjoying very much your layout and pictures..
